Today’s tip: KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE.
Facebook can get creepily specific. Take advantage of this.
Have you ever been talking to a friend about how absolutely delicious Chipotle burritos are and then suddenly there’s an ad on your Facebook feed about Chipotle? (Can y’all tell I have a low key obsession with Chipotle?) Did you know that you, as a business page owner, have access to that info for your ads?
Creating specific audiences for your ads or boosted posts is a fairly easy way to weed out people that aren’t interested in your brand (this is a good thing, I promise), and to get way more specific with the people you WANT seeing your posts.
Think about WHO it is that wants your products and services. What are they interested in? What do they like to do? What kinds of thing do you think they want to hear from you? Are they casual or more formal people? See where I’m going here? If YOU were your audience, what would YOU want to see or read?
Today’s task for you: Specify your audience and cater your posts to those people.
